Install Instructions

Thank you for purchasing the DoorbellGuard!
Please read instructions carefully before installing.

Doorbell Guard Assy-Model

STEP 1
Insure "DoorbellGuard Backplate" oriented correctly. Wires will need to be inserted through backplate.

STEP 2
Mount Smart Doorbell on top of "DoorbellGuard Backplate" per manufacturers instructions. For added protection install additional large tapcon screws to secure.

STEP 3
Place "Top Cover" over "DoorbellGuard Backplate" and install M6 security screws (X4) with provided Tamper Proof Torx bit/ wrench. Please make sure top cover is oriented correctly.

Some models may include:

Spacers to bring the doorbell closer to the "Top Cover". This is optional and not included for all Doorbell Guard models.

2X Security Torx Screws for a more secure mounting. This is a new feature available on all new models.

Notes:

Doorbell Guard is always improving the design based on customer feedback. If your guard arrives with a slightly different design. Don't worry. It is only a design improvement for functionality.

Test fit "Backplate" and Top Cover" to insure the "Backplate" is oriented correctly. It is possible to mount upside down.

Any issues at all please contact Doorbell Guard - especially if purchased from Amazon. These shipments are often mishandled.
